Policy
While the Chastain Veterinary Medical Group maintains a
broad range of veterinary pharmaceuticals at competitive
prices, we do also understand and respect each client’s right
to have their pet’s prescriptions filled at the pharmacy
of their choice.
Therefore, we have established the following policy governing
prescription requests: Pet owners with a valid veterinary-client-patient
relationship with the Chastain Veterinary Medical Group may
at any time request a written prescription from us for any
medication we have prescribed for their pet. We will be happy
to fulfill these requests, with a written prescription, on
our hospital prescription forms, within 24 hours, and at
no charge, for active clients of record, currently in good
standing. This written prescription may then be filled at
any pharmacy of the client’s choosing.
For the protection of the health and well being of our patients,
and due to difficulties in assuring continuity of patient
care, we regret that we must decline authorization of third
party fax or electronic prescription requests.

Need a refill on your pet’s
medicine? No problem: Just give us a call - or shop on-line
at shop.chastainvets.info. We already have your address
and prescription details – so there’s no forms to fill
out
or faxes to send.
Just let us know what you need.
All we need is a charge card
number and even that can be kept on file, if you wish.
Once we have all the pertinent
information, we will prepare and package your pet’s prescription
and send it to you by Priority Mail. You should have it in
5-7 days.

orders over $39.95, or
$4.99 otherwise.
