Veterinary Nurse or Assistant - updated December 1, 2011 APPLY HERE - positions still open

Several part-time and/or full-time Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Nurse Positions are available with a busy veterinary group in Dallas, TX.

Formal college-level veterinary technician training and previous veterinary experience are both definitely a plus, but we will also train a customer service oriented, energetic person with little or no previous experience. Reliability, dependability, a genuine interest in people and their pets, plus a working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office are all required.

Typical duties include animal handling, measuring vital signs, client communication and client education, administering medications, prescription preparation, venipuncture or blood drawing, assisting with radiology, routine patient care, etc.

Several part-time or full-time client services (receptionist) positions are available with the Chastain Veterinary Medical Group at Meadow Brook Animal Hospital in McKinney, TX. Prior experience is a plus but we will train an energetic, enthusiastic customer service oriented person. Reliability, dependability, a genuine interest in people and their pets, plus a working knowledge of personal computers and MS Office are all required.
