Veterinary Technicians

Annette Thomas has been with us at Meadow Brook since 2003. She is glad to be part of a veterinary medical team that treats pets with the utmost care and compassion. Reading, horseback riding and relaxing at her lakehouse are among Annette's favorite pastimes. Her animal companions include three dogs, Possum, Drake and Matilda, cats Lily, Petree and Pooty, and a variety of chameleons and fish.

Tami Ann Saxon has been with us at Meadow Brook Animal Hospital for a number of years. She enjoys educating clients and learning more about veterinary medicine.

Annette Baker is a gradute of the Cedar Valley Veterinary Assisting Program. She has been with us since 2010. Annette says she really enjoys helping animals and interacting with them. She also enjoys the frequent opportunities to learn new techniques and information about veterinary medicine and animal husbandry in general. . When she's not at work she can ususally be found in the company of her dogs, Frankie nad Bauer, or with her family. In her free time, Annette enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and being outdoors.

Alicia Gossett is a veterinary assisyant and occasional grooming assistant at the Chastain Veterinary Medical Group's Meadow Brook Animal Hospital. A member of the staff since 2009, Alicia loves being around animals and gets a lot of satisfaction from helping pets look their best. She says she especially enjoys the people and the family atmosphere of the clinic. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her amazing husband and their home full of pets. Fantasy football, watching sports and going to dog shows are among her many interests. So is keeping up with her seven "girls", Xexi, a chocolate Lab; Zoey, a Basset Hound and Cocker Spaniels Xadie, Sophie, Marci, Emilee, and Daphne. Alicia breeds champion bloodline Cocker Spaniels and is a member of the Cocker Spaniel Club of South Texas.

Byron Bailey has cared for pets as a veterinary assistant at Meadow Brook Animal Hospital since 2010. Byron says he especially loves the animals he works with, the people he meets and his work location. In his free time, Byron likes to be outside as much as possible, playing hockey, football, basketball, or hiking or camping. His companions include three dogs, Lola, Chewy, and Duke, as well as Milo, the cat
